ANZAC Day 2016

With a strong representation of military veterans in our RetroBomb Magazine team and over half of us based in Australia and most of our team working with veteran organisations, ANZAC Day coverage will feature annually.
After a weekend at Caboolture airfield with a WWI ANZAC themed fly-in hosted by TAVAS (posting on that soon), editor Mark Greenmantle joined Mustang Flights Australia  on a trip to Bundaberg with the P-51D / Aussie CAC built Mustang in a media role while it prepped and performed Dawn Service fly-overs for those commemorating the ANZACs.

Highlight was getting to capture images of the flight over the top of the Royal Australian Naval minesweeper HMAS Yarra, seen below, and getting to talk to many veterans from Korean War to current serving about their service and the differences in returning to civilian life then, and now.  More images in the gallery after the main captures.
